The 2022 Dover Spouses' Club Craft Show is November 5th 2022, and we'll be at a brand new location at POLYTECH High School!
Our new location is more than twice the size of last year's Del Tech venue, with room for 92 booths and wider aisles to more comfortably shop and walk. The DSC craft show features only artisans and handmade crafters. You can look forward to shopping for holiday decor, home accents, quilts, candles, fiber arts, paper crafts, fine art, sea glass, photography, ceramics, jewelry, woodcraft, leather goods, pet products, gourmet foods, and more.
To get a sneak peek at this year's vendors and a chance to win free admission, keep an eye on our Facebook page and our Instagram starting Oct 20th!
The DSC Craft Show is run by volunteers of the Dover Spouses' Club, a group of spouses stationed at Dover Air Force Base. This annual craft show is the main fundraiser for our Welfare program, which is why we charge a small admission fee.
All profits from the DSC Craft Show are donated to base, local, state, and national charities, as well as scholarships awarded to Dover Air Force Base spouses and children. Last year alone, we gave out over $20,000 in charitable donations and scholarships.
If you'd like to make an additional donation to support our mission, please look for the donation boxes at the ticket booths.
Thank you for enabling us to give back to our communities!
Our craft show was founded in 1984 by Kay Kross, wife of retired AMC Commander, Gen. Walter Kross. That first year, the show was held in the Youth Center of Dover Air Force Base (DAFB) and included only 20 vendors.
After a number of changes in venue, the craft show was moved to the Delaware State Fairgrounds in 2002, where each year we averaged 150 vendors from eight states, making us the largest single-day craft show on the east coast!
COVID-19 forced us to take a break for 2020, and that break also meant moving on from the fairgrounds, so in 2021 we tested out a new location at Del Tech.
Now in 2022, we're adding a new chapter to our history book by moving the DSC Craft Show to POLYTECH High School. We're excited for this new partnership and expect this to be our new home annually.
Unbelievably, a small committee of spouses from DAFB organizes this huge event, but it’s the dedicated volunteers that ensure its success. We are grateful to the many community organizations who support our DSC Craft Show, without whose help, the show couldn’t go on!
